Ljubica Pezelj
Ward nurse
Ljubica was born in 1985 in Pakrac. She graduated from high medical school in Pakrac in 2004 and completed her internship in General County Hospital Pakrac. After internship, she spent the following 11 years in Lika-Senj County as a nurse in a retirement home, emergency department of the town of Gospić and as physical in-home assistance for people with cerebral palsy. Due to her desire for Slavonia, home and more peaceful life, in 2017 she decided to return to Sirač where she grew up. After her return to Sirač, she briefly worked in Đulovac in a retirement nursing home, but because of everyday commuting she answered an advertisement and applied for a job of a nurse in Polyclinic Arcadia in November 2018. In December she joined our professional team. The first thing she felt was different working environment from hospitals and institutions where she used to work before. She likes the working team, attitude towards the employees and sense of belonging. Ljubica has a great desire for improvement and gaining new experiences, which this working position enables her to do. She spends most of her free time with her son in nature, in the garden and planting flowers. When she has some extra time, she finds tranquillity in drawing flowers from her backyard.
