Bacc. radiol. techn. Vanja Manjarić was born in 1986 in Virovitica. After she graduated from gymnasium in Daruvar, she enrolled in college in radiological technology at University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb and in 2009 graduated from it. After an internship in a Medical centre Zagreb Zapad (West), she got a job as an assistant in diagnostic activities of Polyclinic Arcadia. Very soon, she has distinguished herself with her organizing skills and desire for improvement, so she was suggested to enrol in nursing studies. Vanja accepted the challenge and in 2012 enrolled in nursing studies in Bjelovar and in 2015 she successfully graduated from it and has become a head nurse. In her job, she prefers caring for patients, arranging and organizing operations and when she is in the operating room, she likes to assist the anaesthesiologist the most. She says that she likes aesthetic surgery due to various possibilities that it gives and especially because of a smile on a face of a satisfied patient. In her job, she sees the greatest challenge in constant education of both herself and her team, and in motivation to learn something new on a daily basis regarding her profession, in order to provide the highest quality service to patients and doctors. When she is thinking about the future, she says that she is looking forward to expanding the scope of work that naturally happens in the polyclinic because she would like to expand her professional team. In her free time, Vanja dedicates herself to her family, nature walks and mushroom picking.
